I suggest you check if the Mama Shelter Paris West has rooms available on your travel dates. It’s a hip and trendy midrange hotel, with comfy beds, spacious rooms and many cool features.
But the best is the Roof Top Restaurant, with some of the most delicious Pizzas in Paris. It’s my family’s go-to Pizzeria and I can’t recommend it enough, even if you’re not staying at the Mama Shelter West. (Just make sure you reserve a table a bit in advance)

#1 Georges Brassens – lovely park with a herbal garden, a duck pond and an old market hall that hosts an antique book market on the weekends.
#2 Suzanne Langlen – sports park, great for running
#3 Parc André Citroën – lovely Park with different sections, good for running and picnics
Sights & Cool Locations near the Paris Expo
The Paris Convention Center is off the center of Paris, but there are still a few things around that are worth checking out.
#1 Porte de Vanves Fleamarket – the smaller one of the 2 Parisian Flea markets. Great for strolling and vintage shopping.
#2 Petit Ceinture – former railway belt around Paris, that got transformed into a park. Good for walks and runs.
#3 Catacombs de Paris – One of the most famous sights in Paris and not far from the Convention Center.

Shopping near the Convention Center
Even though the area around the Convention Center is not really a shopping paradise, you still have a few spots, that are cutting it. Especially if you don’t have time to get into Paris, but still want to stock up on gifts and souvenirs.
Your best option here is to simply walk from Porte de Versailles down Rue Ernest Renan direction Mairie d’Issy Les Moulineaux.
Shortly after you cross the tram, the street is lined up with stores, restaurants, and bars. Walk until the Mairie d’Issy-les-Moulineaux and find a little new shopping promenade called Issy Cœur de Ville on your right side.
You have the usual shops like Starbucks, Mango and Rituals, but also some great stores to buy French delicatessen foods. For example, Fauchon. But also some restaurants and cafés.
Voilà, these are the best hotels near the Paris Convention Center at Porte de Versailles. It’s overall a laid back residential area with many restaurants and cafés around. But thanks to Metro Lines 12 and 13 you are in no time in the center of Paris, to make the most out of your stay.
